We are a long established family-run diversified farming business based on St. Mary's in the Isles of Scilly. Taking advantage of the Islands' favourable climate, our core business is the growing and exporting of Narcissi flowers from September to April and flower bulbs from June to August and providing cottage-style self catering accommodation.
In addition to this, we undertake numerous diversified activities on the Islands, including Horse Riding and Treks at St. Mary's Riding Centre, tree surgery and garden works, flowers for special occasions and through our affiliated firm Mulciber Ltd, groundworks and construction.
About Us
Lunnon Farm is situated on a verdant south-facing slope close to the beautiful coast of St. Mary's, with easy access to beaches and nature trails and about 1.5 miles outside the main settlement of Hugh Town. Our small fields, sheltered from winter storms by Elm and Pine trees and tall hedges of Pittosporum, surround the farmhouse and contrast to the granite, heather and gorse of the nearby downs.
Members of the family have been growing and exporting flowers from Lunnon Farm for many generations. In 1887, John R Stideford formally founded the business which still bears his name. Today we aim to export in excess of 2.5 million flower stems and over 20 tonnes of flower bulbs annually to mainland markets.
